Two medical art therapy case studies showing how art therapy at a patient’s bedside can be beneficial. One patient is a heart transplant patient and the other a quadriplegic patient both who benefited by art therapy. The art therapists worked as part of the medical team to build their patients self-esteem, decrease anxiety and gain independence in their lives through the use of art media.
