Expressive Therapies Summit
The Expressive Therapies Summit was founded in 2010 to create an experiential continuing education opportunity for professionals in all the arts therapies. Over the years, this annual event held in metropolitan New York City grew to attract professionals from more than a dozen countries. Now including play therapy as well, professionals from many of the helping professions attend and teach at the Summit, including counselors, social workers, and psychologists.  Continuing Ed credits for a wide variety of professions are available for most sessions.

Expressive Therapies Summit: New York City
Founded in 2010, this 4-day multidisciplinary continuing education event expanded to include sessions in various venues in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and beyond. It attracts over 900 registrants from more than a dozen countries, and is comprised of over 150 sessions led by more than 200 faculty. Summit programming features all the creative arts modalities plus play therapy in interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary workshops and classes, and there is something for all: from students to senior practitioners. Expressive Therapies Summit: Los Angeles
This 4-day multidisciplinary continuing education event was launched in Los Angeles in 2017 in partnership with UCLArts & Healing. Its theme is Creativity & The Arts in Healing. With approximately 150 half- and full-day experiential workshops led by as many distinguished faculty, there is also a series of self-care sessions open to the public each evening. As in NYC, approaches include all of the arts therapies and play therapy. Specialty tracks on community building and contemplative practices are particularly suitable for participation by community arts professionals, educators, and interested others. Mid-Atlantic Play Therapy Training Institute

The Mid-Atlantic Play Therapy Training Institute is held minutes from Washington, DC, in northern Virginia.
